Throughout the day, every day we encounter a variety of toxins that jeopardize our health; however some believe there are life sustaining properties in alkaline water, properties that promote health, healing and wellness.  Many of the scientific, medical, and wellness communities throughout the world have been investigating these claims for decades. The results of their research have caused health conscious consumers to look into the benefits of alkaline water as well.

Is my tap water alkaline?
Currently, our municipal water supplies are generic for imodium not alkaline, which means consumers must take the extra step of installing an in-home filtration system in order to enjoy alkaline water. These filtration systems run simple tap water through a process of electrolysis, charging the water and increasing the pH so that it becomes alkaline.

What are the life sustaining properties of alkaline water?
Alkaline water has many life sustaining properties including antioxidant characteristics. Scientific research has underscored the importance of antioxidants and their role in boosting the immune system, slowing the aging process, and protecting against cancers and cardiovascular disease.

Scientists have specifically identified antioxidants as a way to protect against the cellular damage free radicals can cause. Free radicals are present in both our body and our environment, which means we all could benefit from the healing properties of antioxidants.

Protecting against free radicals has become so important to Americans that we spend billions of dollars each year on them in the form of foods, supplements, and powders. In addition to these steps, health conscious consumers are turning more and more to alkaline water for its antioxidant properties.
